CBS leads in ratings for networks

NEW YORK - The season premiere of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" on CBS drew nearly 23.5 million people to the screen last week, a bright spot in what has already been a lackluster start to the fall TV season for the big networks.

    WASHINGTON - The Federal Communications Commission has sided with the National Football League in a long-running programming dispute with Comcast Corp., ruling that Comcast should carry the league's NFL Network on its popular digital cable package.
